The uniquely oval-shaped tip ensures smooth insertion, prevents follicle perforation and provides tactile feedback when the base is reached. -
Insulation Options

Sterile, Disposable Design
Each probe is individually packaged with SecurGard packaging, sterile for up to five years and intended for single use only. -

Available in five sizes (1 = very fine/vellus hair, to 5 = deep coarse terminal hair) to match shaft depth and follicle anatomy accurately.

High-End Electrolysis and Thermocoagulation Probes
The Pro‑Tec probe line from Dectro (for Apilus devices) is a series of high‑end, two‑piece electrolysis and thermocoagulation probes made of surgical‑grade stainless steel. Designed to prioritise practitioner confidence and client comfort, they feature the patented MicroGard rounded tip, Teflon insulation and sterile, disposable packaging, branded as SteriGard and SecurGard respectively.

The Apilus Senior 3G is a high-performance electrolysis system delivering safe, comfortable and ultra-precise hair removal using 13.56 MHz radiofrequency. With over 1080 pre-set programs, this device offers unmatched customisation and performance across a wide variety of hair and skin types.

Flash
A thermolysis method conducted in hundredths of a second. Since the impulse time is longer and the intensity more gentle, the heat produced is dispersed more widely within the follicle. This technique is the ideal solution for strong, deep or dehydrated hair.

MultiPlex
Combines slow thermolysis with an ultrarapid PicoFlash pulse. The slow thermolysis creates a slight warming of the follicle, enhancing its porosity and thus the effectiveness of the PicoFlash pulse. It allows for an intense destruction ideal for difficult or slightly deformed hairs.

MultiBlend
A combination of OmniBlend and PicoFlash. This technique simultaneously applies a galvanic current, a continuous 27.12 MHz thermolysis impulse and a high intensity PicoFlash impulse at the end of the process. As with OmniBlend, tissue heating is applied uniformly throughout the treatment.

MicroFlash
Rapid 13.56 MHz thermolysis technique working in milliseconds. Combined with insulated probes, it also allows the application of two proportional pulses (bulb, bulge). Comfortable, fast and effective, it is the technique of choice for all types of hair!

OmniBlend
Technique that combines galvanic current with a continuous high frequency current. The Apilus automatically adjusts the intensity of the currents depending on the sensitivity of the customer throught the unique tolerance test function. It is comfortable and easy to use.
